Enhancements:​

  • Sidebar is now resizable
  • Clarify when Backend is unavailable - Swimm's Backend may not be reachable due to VPN or other connectivity issues. Now Swimm's WebApp clarifies this for the user.
  • IDE Plugins - if a user has not logged into Swimm from the IDE, they will now be able to see Swimm's icons next to code that is referenced in documents.
  • Max image upload size - has been increased to 20MB.

  • PR to Doc - with AI - Let AI analyze your PR and write a doc about the changes you made to the repo. Once generated, you may review the draft and tweak details as needed.
  • Doc Rules - Create Rules so that people find your documents when they're most valuable.

  • Multi-repo discoverability - When browsing code in repository A, if this code is referenced in repo B - you will see Swimm's icon next to it in the IDE.
  • Folders - Organize your docs and playlists into folders! Build your organization’s knowledge hierarchy to make docs easier to find. Use our new batch operations to quickly get started.

Enhancements:​

  • Review auto-sync - improved navigation and an "accept all" button.
  • Edit a token - you can now replace/edit a token (rather than deleting it and creating a new one).
  • Mermaid side-by-side editor - Mermaid's rendered diagram appears next to its code.

  • Document creation from IDE - User experience updated to assign a title to a Swimm document in the IDE and rename the file.
  • VS Code opens document side by side - Opening an existing document from the source code will open your Swimm doc side-by-side to provide easier context.
  • Code snippet indentation improved - Reduced indentation in Code Snippets to improve legibility when code is isolated in snippet.

  • Sharing Internally - You can now share docs with Swimm users who don’t have a GitHub account (or access to your repositories).

Improvements:​

  • Find your Smart Token - Don't see the suggested token you want to include in your doc? You can now add the /path of the file where the desired token lives and Swimm will suggest all tokens from the file.
  • New Smart Token command - Initialize a smart token with /Smart Token or a ` backtick.
  • Smart Token file navigation - Users can click on a token and open the source file.
  • Snippet Studio - Performance is smoother and a user can now scroll within the Swimm doc while the studio is open.
  • Browser tab switching during a commit - Swimm will continue committing the document when a user switches tabs.
